Business Tax Compliance

Your business return is a statement to the IRS and to every state you operate in. We prepare it from your books, resolve the questions before filing, and put every return through a second reviewer before it is signed.

Returns we prepare

We work with operating businesses organized as corporations, S corporations and partnerships.

  • Form 1120 for C corporations
  • Form 1120-S for S corporations, with shareholder K-1s
  • Form 1065 for partnerships and multi-member LLCs, with partner K-1s
  • Multi-state income and franchise tax filings
  • Extensions and estimated tax payments

How the work runs

We start from your books and a short list of what we need. Questions come to you before the deadline, not the week of. Before signature, a second reviewer goes through every return.

Multi-state businesses

Remote staff, out-of-state customers and new locations can create filing obligations in other states. We identify where you need to file and handle those returns alongside the federal return.

Questions

Common questions

Do you prepare the owners’ personal returns too?

Yes, for owners of businesses we work with. Keeping the business and personal returns together avoids mismatches between K-1s and individual filings.

What do you need from us to start?

Your year-end books, prior-year returns, and a short questionnaire. We will send a specific list after an initial call.

What if our books are not in shape?

That is common. Our accounting team can bring the books current before the return is prepared, so the return is built on numbers you can stand behind.
